ACTIVITY INSTRUCTORS
This position is for an independent contractor/self employed individuals

We are looking for dance teachers, drama teachers, singing teachers, sports teachers to help run occasional sessions on zoom in the evenings, and face to face on Saturday mornings, holidays, this is ad hoc. THINK18 will have volunteers who will help support the young adults.

Position Overview

  • Help run occasional sessions on zoom and face to face in and around Chichester
  • Experienced in Dance or drama or singing or sports
  • Qualifications required within specialist field
  • Be able to work on occasions during holidays / Saturdays 10 – 12 / Early Evenings / zooms 
  • We may consider trainee graduate

ACTIVITY LEADER
This position is for an independent contractor/self employed individuals

Position Overview

  • Ideally 5 years’ experience working within the additional needs sector (or lived experience with a young adult with moderate to severe learning disabilities).
  • Plan new events for holidays preparing the agendas.
  • First aider responsible for young adults at events.
  • Liaison with administration to provide the appropriate contractors.
  • Work with other contractors to plan activities including a 3 day camping weekend in August.
  • Arrange new workshops including Dance, Arts, & Sports networking to create new contractor contacts.
  • Saturday activities – prepare and print out attendee lists, obtain feedback and collate any important information for all Emergency Action Plans.
  • Attend activities / events – set up and take down. Take photos for promotional purposes and relaying them back to our promotional team.


ACTIVITY SUPPORT LEADER
This position is for an independent contractor/self employed individuals

Position Overview

  • Ideally 2 years’ experience working within the additional needs sector (or lived experience with a young adult with moderate to severe learning disabilities).
  •  Prepare to step up when the Activities Lead is not available.
  • Provide first aid support for young adults.
  • Establish a knowledge of our members medical needs / EAPs.
  • Support young adults during event session, ensure events run smoothly.
  • Get feedback from our young adults on what they would like at future events
  • Liaison with administration to ensure all young adults are aware of events they are booked on.
  • Work with other contractors to plan activities including a 3 day camping weekend in August.
  • Attend activities / events – set up and take down as needed.
  • Assist with ZOOM activities – seven per week.
  •  A knowledge of diabetes & epilepsy is helpful.
