What can I say, it was definitely bonkers but such good fun!
Armed with saucepans, spatulas, frying pans & rolling pins we hit the golf course in Cirencester. The aim was to go round the first 3 holes of the golf course doing it with the least amount of puts, sounds easy, well not that easy.
The idea was 18 families each family paid £18 to take part, well worth the money. Richard and Jem laid on a great Chilli meal in the clubhouse followed by drinks and an auction.
The auction prizes were so good I bid for almost everything including a trip for the family to Lake Pochard, to stay for a long weekend in a chalets https://www.lakepochard.co.uk/ a block of beautiful kitchen knives a sheepskin rug and more.
Maria raised over £1900 for THINK18, not only did we have a remarkably fun day but also having a superb day out, with a difference, with my family.
Oh and of course I got to catch up with one of my dearest friends, Maria!
